Cuñas Davia Tinto

Cuñas Davia Tinto is a joyful ruby red with a young, purplish profile in the rim. A medium density hue which is bright and visually appealing.

Fresh nose with a good aromatic intensity. Strong wild red fruit and forest fruits, cherries, raspberries, blackberries and wild strawberries over light scents of cocoa, gentle roasts and toasted nuts which come from its time in the oak barrels.

In the mouth it is hearty yet balanced. With just the right level of acidity, it begs to be drunk.

Pleasant start leading to fruity middle with a background woodiness that provides complexity with redcurrants, plums and figs and tertiary hints of confit fruit and spices.

Long finish with intense but pleasing tannins. Matches perfectly with Galician style octopus, blue fish, grilled meats and earthy casseroles.
